Michael Townsell,
Vice President, Human Resources

Mickey Townsell is Vice President of Human Resources for Weingarten Realty. He is responsible for overseeing staffing, compensation and benefit programs, management and organization development, and employee relations.

Mickey brings over 25 years of experience in contract negotiations, streamlining work processes to increase productivity, and traditional human resource functions to Weingarten. Most recently, he served as Director of Human Resources for The Linc Group where he managed the daily human resources operation of over 1,200 employees.

Mickey graduated from Sam Houston State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance.
