Neil Soskin,
Regional Vice President, Leasing

Neil Soskin is a Vice President Director of Leasing, Weingarten Realty Investors.  He joined Weingarten in January 2002.  He is directly responsible for the leasing and cash flow for a portfolio of 35 shopping centers totaling over 4.5 million square feet and $58 million in annual rent.  The properties are located in California, Oregon and Washington. 

Mr. Soskin has enjoyed 21 years in the real estate industry. He attended University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, graduating with a BA, and received his MBA from University of California, Berkeley.  His experience includes VP of Real Estate, SCORE! Educational Center, several years of leasing representation of major malls with the Taubman Company, Independent brokerage representation of several retail tenants and landlords, and the development of several hotels.

He has been actively involved with International Council of Shopping Centers since 1987.  Neil has taken on many leadership roles within the Jewish Community including the Regional Board of Director for AIPAC and Board of Director of the Sacramento Jewish Federation.
