Mitch Rippe,
Vice President / Regional Director of Acquisitions

Mitch is currently serving as Vice President and Regional Director of Acquisitions for Weingarten Realty Investors. His duties include all facets of retail acquisitions ranging from identifying appropriate properties, financial analysis, structuring of offers, and assisting in the due diligence process.

He joined WRI in 2000 as Regional Director of Acquisitions, and was promoted to his current position in 2002.

Prior to joining WRI, Mitch served as Vice President of Acquisitions for IRT Property Company, a publicly traded REIT headquartered in Atlanta, GA. At IRT, Mitch was responsible for the acquisition of retail properties located throughout the Southeastern United States.

Mitch received his undergraduate degree in business and economics from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 1986.

He has a CCIM designation and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
