Marc A. Kasner,
Vice President/Associate General Counsel

Mr. Kasner is Vice President/Associate General Counsel for Weingarten Realty.  His responsibilities include managing the Acquisitions/Dispositions Division of the Legal Department.

Marc has been practicing for 30 years and joined Weingarten in 2005. Prior to joining the Company, Marc was a partner with Levin and Kasner, P.C. from 1983 to 2005.  His experience includes representing real estate developers, management companies  and lenders where he was responsible for the negotiation, preparation of documents and closing the acquisition, disposition and development of shopping centers and industrial projects.

He graduated from Bernard Baruch College with a Bachelors of Business Adminstration degree in Accounting in 1973 and earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1976.  Marc is admitted to the State Bars of Texas and New York and is an AV rated lawyer by Martindale-Hubble.

He serves on the Executive Board  of the Jewish Community Center and is the Chair for the Budget and Security Committee.
