Johnny L. Hendrix,
Executive Vice President / Asset Management

Johnny Hendrix is Executive Vice President of Weingarten Realty Investors, primarily focused on Asset Management and supervising the Leasing, Property Management, and Market Research Departments.

Johnny joined Weingarten as a Leasing Executive in 1986, was promoted to Vice President in 1994, Senior Vice President/Director of Leasing in 1999, and to his current position in 2004. Prior to that he was Vice President of Leasing for Gilliam Interest, and also a broker with Henry S. Miller in Houston. Johnny has over 25  years experience in the shopping center industry.

Johnny received his BBA from the University of Texas and has been an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers since 1984 as well as a member of NAREIT. In the spring of 2005, he successfully completed Harvard’s nine week Advanced Management Program (AMP).
