Timothy M. Frakes,
Regional Vice President, New Development and Acquisitions

Tim is Regional Vice President of New Development and Acquisitions for Weingarten Realty. Located  in the Phoenix, Arizona regional office.  Tim's responsibilities include negotiations of all New Development projects, including land acquisitions, entitlements and all anchor tenant negotiations.  In addition, Tim is also responsible for identifying potential shopping center acquisitions including negotiating purchase contracts, overseeing all due diligence, etc. in the western United States. 

He joined WRI in March 1994 as a Regional Leasing Executive.  He was promoted to Regional Director of New Development in 2000, and was promoted to his current position in 2002.

Prior to joining WRI, Tim served as Vice President of Leasing for Grossman Company Properties where he was responsible for coordinating the leasing for such properties as Biltmore Fashion Park, Christown Mall and other community and neighborhood shopping centers.  Before joining Grossman Company Properties, he was a retail broker for Coldwell Banker, now known as CB Richard Ellis.
